Honor Guard Spire | War-Era Tribute Solar Tower (28″ or 48″) — First Run Memorial Edition
Our original Liberty Spire is retiring. In its place, we’re building a small First Run of Honor Guard Spire — War-Era Tribute Solar Towers: war-era artwork on steel-and-acrylic towers, with the option to add a FREE personalized memorial stake for the person you’re honoring.
Choose your war series, pick 28″ or 48″, and (if you’d like a stake) tell us who it’s for in the fields above. We’ll build the tower — and, when text is provided, cut the matching stake — together in our Tennessee shop and ship them as one memorial set.
First Run Memorial Edition. This is the first dedicated Honor Guard Spire build we’ve ever offered. We’re building it in small batches, then moving the shop back to other projects. When this First Run is spoken for, this exact combination of tower + optional stake may not return in the same way.
Each tower uses the same build recipe that made Liberty Spire work: powder-coated steel frame, UV-printed acrylic artwork panels, and an internal diffuser that turns a clear LED into a calm, even glow — not a harsh solar spotlight.
- 28″ or 48″ steel tower with war-era artwork (choose your series in the dropdown above).
- Optional FREE 5″×6″ personalized memorial stake — added when you fill in the name / rank and dates above.
- Same build standard as Liberty Spire: steel frame, UV-printed acrylic, and diffuser inside.
- 30-Night First Dusk Promise + 1-Year craft warranty.
Cheaper plastic lights fade, crack, and feel temporary. This is built so the place you’re honoring doesn’t.
Begin Your Honor Guard Spire (Add Free Stake If Desired)- Powder-coated steel frame • UV-printed acrylic panels with war-era artwork.
- Internal diffuser for an even, steady glow (no harsh LED dots).
- Two heights: 28″ for beds and near steps • 48″ for gates, columns, and focal points.
- Arrives ready to place • no wiring • turns on automatically at dusk.
- Free shipping on $100+ • Easy returns within 30 nights.
What You Get With Each Order
- One Honor Guard Spire — choose 28″ or 48″ and your war-era design in the dropdowns above.
- Optional FREE 5″×6″ personalized memorial stake — we include it when you enter name, rank, and dates in the fields above.
- Built Like a Real Outdoor Piece — steel frame, UV-printed acrylic faces, diffuser inside, serviceable battery.
The text fields above the add-to-cart button are only for the memorial stake. The tower artwork stays as-shown for the war-era design you choose. If you don’t enter any text, your order will include the tower only.
More Than Décor — It’s a Place to Stand
These towers aren’t just “patriotic lights.” They mark a spot that means something — the porch where they always sat, the path they walked, the flag they cared about. We build them so family and friends have a specific place to pause, touch the steel, read the stake (when chosen), and remember who it’s for.
Steel, Acrylic, and a Diffuser — Same Recipe That Made Liberty Spire Work
Steel Frame (28″ or 48″)
Powder-coated American steel gives the tower real weight and presence — whether you choose the 28″ bed height or the 48″ focal-height version.
UV-Printed Acrylic Panels
War-era artwork is printed directly onto acrylic panels for day-time clarity. At night, that artwork sets the tone of the glow.
Internal Diffuser
A light-spreading layer between the LED and the panels. It takes a clear point of light and turns it into a calm, even glow.
Who This Memorial Set Is For
- Families honoring a loved one who served in a specific conflict or era.
- Veterans and active-duty households building a quiet, permanent place of respect at home.
- Anyone who wants more than a plastic grave stake — something that actually feels worthy of the person they’re honoring.
Add a Free Personalized 5″×6″ Memorial Stake (If You Want)
With this First Run, you can add a free 5″×6″ steel memorial stake at no extra cost. It’s cut and finished in the same shop, using the text you enter above:
- Line 1: Name and rank (e.g., SFC JOHN M. CARTER).
- Line 2 (Optional): Branch, unit, or short phrase (e.g., U.S. ARMY).
- Line 3: Dates (MM/DD/YYYY – MM/DD/YYYY).
Personalization is included at no extra cost for this First Run. If you leave the stake fields blank, we ship only the tower.
Choosing 28″ vs 48″
| Where customers place it | 28″ Tower | 48″ Tower |
|---|---|---|
| Flower beds, along mulch, near smaller planters | Great beside 18–24″ planters or low shrubs. | Taller than the plants — more of a focal point. |
| Porch steps / entry path | Pairs nicely on either side of steps. | Framing columns or the main entrance. |
| Driveways, gates, or memorial corners | Subtle marker along the line. | Strong sightline from the street or gate. |
If you’re torn, most families start with 28″ for beds and near steps; 48″ is best when you want something that reads from farther away.

Everything You Might Be Wondering
Is this replacing the Liberty Spire?
The Honor Guard Spire uses the same build recipe as Liberty Spire (steel, acrylic, diffuser) but with dedicated war-era artwork and an optional matching memorial stake. Liberty Spire is being phased out so we can focus on pieces like this that are specifically built to honor service.
How do I personalize the free stake?
Use the fields above the add-to-cart button: name / rank, optional line, and dates. We cut the stake exactly as you enter it, so please double-check spelling, ranks, and dates before placing your order. If you leave the fields blank, we simply don’t produce a stake — your order will be tower only.
Can I choose the war or era?
Yes. The “Design Selection” dropdown lets you choose which war-era artwork you’d like on the tower (Vietnam War, Gulf War, Iraq War, etc.). Each design uses historically informed silhouettes and symbols specific to that era.
Does the memorial stake match the tower?
The stake is a separate piece — solid steel, black finish, stencil lettering — designed to sit beside or near the tower. The style is clean and military-forward so it pairs well with any of the war-era tower designs. It’s included only if you choose to add text in the stake fields.
How bright is the light?
It’s an ambient memorial glow — enough to mark the spot, show the artwork, and cast a soft pool of light on nearby stone or mulch. It’s not meant to flood-light a driveway or yard.
Year-round?
Yes. Powder-coated steel and acrylic are weather-ready. Runtime shortens in winter (normal for solar). Brushing snow and debris off the cap will help keep the charge strong.
What if the battery fails?
The battery is replaceable. If it fails within the first year, we’ll send a fresh one. After that, you can purchase a replacement kit from us if you ever need it.
Is the artwork accurate and respectful?
Yes. All artwork is created in-house using historically informed silhouettes and symbols for each era — nothing cartoonish or novelty. If you ever feel something misses the mark, reach out directly and we’ll make it right.
Tools or assembly?
None. The tower arrives fully assembled. Place it, let it charge, and it turns on at dusk. The stake simply presses into soil or mulch by hand, if you choose to add one.
Ready to give them a place that feels worthy?
Set your war-era design, choose 28″ or 48″, and (if you want the stake) fill in the memorial details. We’ll take it from there — cutting, printing, and assembling everything in our Tennessee shop.
